Best Time to Perform Umrah

Umrah is a holy pilgrimage for Muslims. Although it is not a religious obligation, yet hundreds of thousands of Muslims travel every year for performing the Sunnah. Umrah holds great rewards for pilgrims. It increases one’s health, eliminates poverty, removes sins, offers an opportunity to visit Haramain, goes for the Ziyarath of Holy Sites of Islam and also provides a fresh start of life. For this reason, people book their Umrah packages all inclusive and depart for the spiritual journey of a lifetime.

In Islam, it has been recommended for Muslims to follow-up on the performance of Umrah. Because it is one of the best ways to get closer to Allah Almighty. However, for only those who can afford it financially, physically and mentally (health-wise). As a matter of Fact, Umrah in Ramadan holds the reward of a Hajj!

Its one of the most crowded yet the most beautiful times to go for the performance of minor pilgrimage. The hotels, food, flights, transportation are usually a bit expensive. Therefore, if you are traveling alone or with a family, it’s the best time.

People in Haram are few in number as compared to other months. Hotel accommodations are present at half or even 30% of the actual price. Flights are discounted.
